Sylvia Winslow (1910-1996)

Listed in "An Encyclopedia of Women Artists of the American West",  there is much information on the web about Sylvia Winslow who lived a life of adventure, romance, and exploration in California with her cowboy husband. Exhibiting in prestigious venues i.e., The Los Angeles County Museum and the Palace of the Legion of Honor in San Francisco, she won numerous awards for her art. The Muturango Museum in Indian Wells Valley has a gallery dedicated to her memory and her passion to foster art and desert painters.
