Katherine Tsanoff Brown (1918-    )

She entered Rice Institute at age fifteen. She was the daughter of Radoslav Andrea Tsanoff professor of philosophy who retired, professor emeritus from Rice University.  She was on the faculty of the Museum School of the Fine Arts Museum of Houston in 1942 where she taught into the 1960s. She began her exhibition career in 1942 and excelled as a printmaker. She served as the dean of undergraduate affairs at Rice from 1973-1983 and retired from the Department of Art and Art History in 1989, professor emeritus.
