Born
in Dallas, the daughter of the an early Chief of the Dallas Fire
Department, she lived for a time in San Antonio in the 1920’s before
returning to Dallas prior to 1930. She was to return often to
exhibit in San Antonio. She was a exhibiting member of the Dallas
Artist and Craftsmen, American Artist and Professional League, Frank
Reaugh Art Club, Frank Klepper Art Club, Dallas Allied Artists,
Federation of Dallas Artists, Dallas Museum of Contemporary Arts,
and Coppini Academy of Fine Arts.
Her work was exhibited in in prominent early Texas galleries
including the Telenews Galleries. A talented and versatile artist
her landscapes and floral paintings are a testament
to her technical skills.
