Elvy Levy was a member of the Texas Fine Arts Association, Texas Water Color Society and Southwestern Watercolor Society. With numerous solo exhibitions she was an exhibitor at the McNay, The Witte Museum and Laguna Gloria. Her works were honored with numerous purchase prizes including the 17^th, 25^th, 27^th 32^nd and 33^rd Annual Exhibitions of the Texas Watercolor Society. Her works were consistent with the exploration of mid-century Texas artists whose modernist works mirrored the social and cultural aspects of their changing environment. She was the one of Central Texas' finest artists and her honors reflected her contributions to Texas art.
